It’s a shame I didn’t seize this opportunity to share all the things I’m grateful for. While we often reserve November for expressing thanks because of Thanksgiving, cultivating gratitude is something we should practice year-round.
I’ve long wanted to keep a gratitude journal as a form of personal development and self-care. Recognizing the things I’m thankful for is crucial. When life gets tough, it’s comforting to reflect on the positives that sustain me—those truly remarkable aspects of life that persist despite the challenges. It’s all too easy to lose sight of the good when we’re overwhelmed by the bad.
This holiday season, here are a few things I’m particularly grateful for:
My family: My husband, our boys, Barkley, my parents, my sisters, my in-laws, and my work family. Their love and support mean the world to me. It truly takes a village.
My job: I’m fortunate to do what I love with incredible people. It’s rare to find a career that feels so fulfilling and enjoyable, and I’m grateful every day for this opportunity.
My husband: Though he’s part of my family, he deserves special mention. He’s been with me through every high and low, my biggest supporter and partner in adventure. His unwavering love and enthusiasm mean everything to me.
This season, and always, I’m filled with appreciation for the wonderful people and experiences in my life.

What are you thankful for?
