I have to admit, by December 1st, I had all my Christmas shopping wrapped up and most of the gifts already under the tree. If a few items hadn’t shipped late, I would have been completely done before the month even began. This is the first time I’ve been this ahead of the game for the holidays. Normally, I’m scrambling in the days leading up to Christmas, but not this year. Now, it feels like a huge weight has been lifted, leaving me free to focus on the fun parts of the season.

Speaking of which, I’m excited to tackle our winter bucket list! I’ve been eager to take the kids on a little hike at our local park so they can experience some trail magic and maybe even do a nature scavenger hunt. I’m hoping for some decent weather during their break, or maybe even sooner. We’ve also got crafts, puzzles, cookie baking, and revisiting all those classic holiday movies from my childhood lined up.
