Recently, the boys were baptized into the Catholic Church, and it was a truly memorable occasion. Dressed in elegant white suits and surrounded by family, we gathered in the same church where Hubs and I were married 15 years ago. The moment was filled with significance and joy.
Boy2, in particular, has a deep love for singing in church. He diligently looks up the hymns and follows along, and I’m convinced that if our church had a children’s choir, he’d be thrilled to join. Although the missal provides the order of the Mass, it can be challenging for children to navigate the pages.
When I was a child, I had my own children’s missal, and I still cherish it. Inspired by this, I decided that the boys should each have their own missals too, making their church experience even more special and engaging.

These children’s missals are a wonderful addition to their spiritual journey. They include the order of Mass, the Stations of the Cross, various prayers, and other features designed to help the boys connect with their faith. Each missal has dedicated space for recording significant milestones such as baptism, penance, and Holy Communion. Additionally, their compact size makes them easy for the boys to carry. I’m excited to see them using their missals at Mass this weekend and to watch them deepen their engagement with the Church.
