Spring has always been my favorite season. There’s something magical about the transition from winter’s chill to the gentle warmth of spring. As flowers begin to bloom and color returns to the world, everything feels vibrant and renewed. It’s a time of beauty and warmth that’s simply irresistible.
This season also means that my kids are on break for a week, giving us ample opportunity to explore and enjoy some extra activities together. My goal isn’t to tick off every item on this list but rather to have a variety of ideas ready for when the everyday routine starts to feel a bit too predictable. Here’s to embracing the season with creativity and spontaneity!
- Make pinecone bird feeders
- Plant flowers
- Color Easter eggs
- Easter egg hunt
- See the cherry blossoms in Washington, DC
- Do a nature scavenger hunt
- Do a spring themed puzzle
- Complete a spring craft
- Bake holiday cookies
- Light a seasonal scented candle
- Take spring photos
- Go on a hike
- Decorate the house for spring holidays
- Do a spring colors scavenger hunt
- Have a picnic in a park
