The last eclipse I remember was in August 2017. Just days later, I received my cancer diagnosis. It’s astonishing how quickly time passes and how much can change. In the past 6.5 years, we’ve navigated through cancer treatments, surgeries, financial struggles, and multiple moves—including the unexpected adventure of moving in with my parents in my 30s (definitely not what I envisioned, but it had its moments). We’ve changed jobs and started a family.

It’s been a whirlwind of adventures, and it feels like we’re only just getting started.
