One of our favorite dining spots is The Taste Asian Bistro. Even the pickiest eater, Boy2, can’t get enough of their kids’ Treasure Boxes. Each box is a hit with its balanced combination of meat, a side, some fresh pineapple, and a couple of cookies, all neatly arranged on a divided rectangular plate.
We frequent this place often, so we’ve sampled a lot of their menu, but let’s focus on their latest offerings.
For an appetizer, we tried the tempura vegetables. Boy1 enjoyed the onions and sweet potato slices, while Boy2 was less impressed with the onion but liked the carrots.
For dinner, Boy1 went for the honey chicken with white rice. The portion was so generous that he struggled to finish it—quite impressive for someone with his appetite. Meanwhile, Boy2 opted for the hibachi shrimp with French fries. The portion was equally substantial, and he polished it off without hesitation.
For my meal, I had the honey shrimp, which was delicious. On a different visit, I savored the Mongolian beef—my personal favorite from their menu. I highly recommend any of their adult entrees; they’re consistently delicious. The service is also impressively quick, whether you’re dining in or ordering takeout. For flavorful Asian cuisine, we keep coming back to The Taste Asian Bistro.
