One of my most favorite past times – trip planning! On our next adventure to Walt Disney World, we are planning to visit EPCOT. Naturally I had to make a list of must-dos. I know we might not accomplish the entire list on our trip, but it’ll serve as a great resource for ideas on this and future trips.
EPCOT, one of Disney World’s most unique parks, offers a blend of innovation, culture, and fun that appeals to all ages. For families with young kids like ours (they’ll be 7 and 9 on our next trip), it’s a treasure trove of exciting experiences, magical moments, and unforgettable memories. Here’s our mostly family-friendly bucket list packed with activities, rides, and hidden gems to ensure our EPCOT adventure (and yours) is nothing short of spectacular.
It is important to note that this list is lacking the culinary wonders within EPCOT. Since our October trip falls during EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival, it simply wasn’t realistic to add dining to this list. One day I will create a general Disney dining bucket list, and it will likely have every restaurant at Walt Disney World on it. I love to explore new dining opportunities, and it’s hard for me to narrow those down at Walt Disney World.

Some tips:
- Stay Hydrated and Rested: EPCOT is large and there’s a lot to see and do. Make sure to keep your kids hydrated and take regular breaks.
- Download the My Disney Experience App: It’s a handy tool for checking wait times, booking Lightning Lanes, and locating KIDCOT stations.
- Plan Ahead: With so many attractions and activities, a little planning can help you make the most of your day. But don’t plan so much that if you’re unable to accomplish everything (rides go down, weather, etc.) you’ll be disappointed.
- And most important… make those magical moments!
EPCOT is a place where innovation meets imagination, and with this bucket list, my family (and yours!) is set for days of fun, discovery, and Disney magic. Enjoy your adventure!
