We absolutely love Mexican cuisine and usually stick to our favorite spot, but this time we decided to mix things up and try Señor Tequila since we were in a different part of town.
We started with chips and salsa, which we devoured since we were starving from a late lunch. We also ordered guacamole, which Boy1 enjoyed, but Boy2 wouldn’t touch, despite our best efforts to persuade him.
For dinner, each of the boys had a kid’s plate with a taco and enchilada. Boy1 is a fan of enchiladas, but it was Boy2’s first time trying one. Although he wasn’t a fan of the red sauce and skipped the tortilla, he enjoyed the beef filling. As usual, he went with just beef and cheese for his crunchy taco.
I opted for the Hawaiian fajitas, and they were fantastic. The melted cheese on top was a perfect touch. The dish included grilled pineapple, onions, and peppers, with a mix of shrimp (a bit overcooked), steak, and chicken. Hubs went for a combo plate that had a bit of everything: chalupa, chile relleno, enchilada, taco, and burrito, served with rice and beans.
The service was attentive, and our food arrived quickly. Overall, we had a great experience and left very satisfied!
