Disney Springs – June 2024

During our Orange Lake vacation, we finally made it to Disney Springs—something we’ve always intended to do but never quite managed. Despite our love for the parks and the resort, we were eager to soak up some extra Disney magic at Disney Springs.

Our primary goal was to visit the LEGO Store. The boys are huge LEGO fans, and we couldn’t pass up the chance to explore the vast selection of LEGO kits on display. After a brief wait to enter the iconic circular store, we roamed through the impressive array of sets. Boy2 was thrilled to pick out a Gabby’s Dollhouse set, while Boy1 chose a Minecraft set, each decision adding a spark of excitement to their day.

Next, we headed to World of Disney, the largest Disney store they’ve ever seen. The boys were over the moon as they selected a new shirt and toy—no easy task with so many wonderful options. We also indulged in our love for Disney pins, each of us finding a few to add to our collections.

Our Disney adventure continued with a stop at the Star Wars Trading Post and Disney’s Pin Traders, where we snagged even more pins. The boys enjoyed a quick ride on a charming little train, which was a delightful way to break up the day.

Given the sweltering heat, we decided to save exploring the rest of the shops for a cooler time, perhaps in the fall or winter. We were content with our LEGO and Disney Store finds and ended our day with a fun lunch at T-Rex Café (DWK: T-Rex Cafe), where the prehistoric atmosphere added a bit more excitement to our adventure.

What are your favorite spots at Disney Springs? We’d love to hear your recommendations for our next visit!
